Chaohuichthys majiashanensis

Taxonomy
Chaohuichthys majiashanensis was named by Tong et al. (2006). Its type specimen is CUGM CMR701, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is North Majiashan section, Chaohu, which is in a Smithian basinal (siliciclastic) mudstone in the Helongshan Formation of China. It is the type species of Chaohuichthys.
