Taxonomy
Eoaraxoceras robustum was named by Spinosa and Glenister (2000). Its type specimen is GSI 69 T 120 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kuh-e Hambast 69T120, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Hambast Formation of Iran.
