Mesecanus lintouensis

Taxonomy
Mesagyrtes lintouensis was named by Lin (1985). Its type specimen is 2p43-H26-251, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Pengzhuang village, Hanshan County, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Hanshan Formation of China.

It was recombined as Mesecanus lintouensis by Perkovsky (2001).
