Taxonomy
Samaroblatta turanica was named by Martynov (1937). Its type specimen is 4543, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Shurab I, Ditch 20, which is in a Toarcian terrestrial horizon in the Sulyukta Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
