Osmyloides distinctus

Taxonomy
Osmyloides distinctus was named by Panfilov (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2384/863, a hindwing (missing base), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2384), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Osmyloidea.
