Microsmylus foliformis

Taxonomy
Microsmylus foliformis was named by Panfilov (1980). Its type specimen is PIN 2554/784, a hindwing (apical fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2554), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Microsmylus.
