Stypodontosaurus melletes

Taxonomy
Stypodontosaurus melletes was named by Gao and Fox (1996). Its type specimen is UALVP 29844, a mandible (nearly complete right dentary having 16 teeth and the base of another), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Trochu (KUA-1), which is in a Lancian terrestrial claystone/siltstone in the Scollard Formation of Canada.
