Taxonomy
Calosargus (Pterosargus) sinicus was named by Zhang (2010). Its type specimen is DHG200753, an exoskeleton (incomplete fly), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP 2007 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
