Gobekko cretacicus
Taxonomy
Gobekko cretacicus was named by Borsuk-Bialynicka (1990). Its type specimen is ZPAL MgR-II/4, a skull (skull with mandibles), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bayn Dzak [PMPE], which is in a Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Djadokhta Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Gobekko.
