Taxonomy
Mundus nodosus was named by Becker-Migdisova (1960). It is not extant. Its type locality is Letopala River (PIN collection 117), which is in a Roadian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Iva-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
