Taxonomy
Protoblattogryllus vittatus was named by Aristov (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 5381/13, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Anakit-3 (PIN collection 5381), which is in a Changhsingian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Chichikan Formation of the Russian Federation.
