Taxonomy
Rasnitsyrina culonga was named by Sinitshenkova (2011). Its type specimen is PIN 5340/123, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Khasurty (PIN collection 5340), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Rasnitsyrina.
