Yochelsonospira gairensis
Taxonomy
Worthenia gairensis was named by Thomas (1940). Its type specimen is RSM 1939.3.2, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gair, near Carluke, which is in an Arnsbergian carbonate limestone/mudstone in the Upper Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Yochelsonospira gairensis by Wagner (2023).
