Bo 2011 | A Sordes-like pterosaur bears the following characters: 7 and 6 pairs of upper and lower jaw teeth respectively; the development of a recess (representing the antorbital fossa) on the maxilla, which is shared with Harpactognathus; the dental margin eveness in lateral view; a distinct central ridge along dorsal surface of the mandibular symphysis; wing phalanx 4 with strongly curved shaft approximately 96% the length of the wing phalanx 1 and it is distinctly slenderer than other three wing phalanges; pes digit four in which phalanx 4 does not exceed the combined length of phalanges 1-3 (contrary to Sordes) |
