Synechodus egertoni
Taxonomy
Palaeospinax egertoni was named by Woodward (1889). Its type specimen is BMNH P.1132, a partial skull, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ohmden, Würtemberg (Egerton coll), which is in a Toarcian marine siliciclastic in Germany.
It was recombined as Synechodus egertoni by Duffin and Ward (1993).
