Sinopelecinus hierus

Taxonomy
Sinopelecinus hierus was named by Zhang and Rasnitsyn (2006). Its type specimen is NIP L91444, an exoskeleton (complete female), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Nanligezhuang, Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City (Shandong Prov. Mus.), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Laiyang Formation of China.
