Parapsocus pectinatus

Taxonomy
Parapsocus pectinatus was named by Hong (1983). Its type specimen is Coll Y. Hong 1020, an exoskeleton (incomplete adult, dorso-ventral aspect), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Yujiagou, collection Lby/y3, Beipiao City, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian terrestrial mudstone in the Haifanggou Formation of China. It is the type species of Parapsocus, Psocites.
It was recombined as Psocites pectinatus by Hong (1992), Zhang (2004) and Zhang (2010).
