Juraxymyia fossilis

Taxonomy
Psocites fossilis was named by Zhang (2004). Its type specimen is DHG200046, an exoskeleton (nearly complete female adult, dorso-ventral aspect), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Juraxymyia.

It was recombined as Juraxymyia fossilis by Zhang (2010).
