Protopelecinus regularis
Taxonomy
Protopelecinus regularis was named by Zhang and Rasnitsyn (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 3064/2003, an exoskeleton (male almost complete), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Protopelecinus.
