Protopelecinus deformis

Taxonomy
Protopelecinus deformis was named by Zhang and Rasnitsyn (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/681, a forewing (forewing damaged marginally and deformed in preservation), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
