Bobbodus schaefferi
Taxonomy
Bobbodus schaefferi was named by Zangerl (1981). Its type specimen is FMNH PF7292, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ace Hill, Plattsmouth, Queen Hill Shale, which is in a Gzhelian marine shale in the Lecompton Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Bobbodus.
