Taxonomy
Acocephalites breddini was named by Meunier (1904). Its type specimen is MGB 505, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is La Pedrera de Rubies, Sierra del Montsech (Vidal collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large limestone in the La Pedrera de Rúbies Formation of Spain.
