  • Erichosaurus diminutus was named by Ameghino (1899). Its type specimen is MACN-A 2272, a maxilla (fragmentary right maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Cueva, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.

    It was considered a nomen dubium by Fernicola and Albino (2012).
  • Erichosaurus debilis was named by Ameghino (1899). Its type specimen is MACN-A 5807, a mandible (fragmentary right dentary and articulated suprangular), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Cueva, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.

    It was considered a nomen dubium by Fernicola and Albino (2012).
  • Erichosaurus bombimaxila was named by Ameghino (1899). Its type specimen is MACN-A 2283a-c, a partial skull (three fragmentary toothed bones), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Cueva, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.

    It was considered a nomen dubium by Fernicola and Albino (2012).
