Homoeosaurus macrodactylus

Taxonomy
Homoeosaurus macrodactylus was named by Wagner (1854). Its type specimen is BSPHM 1873 III, a skeleton (complete skeleton, part now lost (counterpart remains)), and it is a compression fossil. It is the type species of Bavarisaurus.

It was recombined as Bavarisaurus macrodactylus by Hoffstetter (1953), Cocude-Michel (1963) and Estes (1983).
