Aphanizocnemus libanensis

Taxonomy
Aphanizocnemus libanensis was named by Dal Sasso and Pinna (1997). Its type specimen is MSNM V783 (Museo di Storia Naturale di Milano, a skeleton (complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is en Nammoûra, upper quarry (unit 3b), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal wackestone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Aphanizocnemus.
