Taxonomy
Paraheritschioides nevadaensis was named by Stevens (2008). Its type specimen is USNM 531324 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SJS-639, Pequop Mountains, which is in a Sakmarian carbonate limestone in Nevada.
