Taxonomy
Hayasakapora akiyoshiensis was named by Sugimura (1972). Its type specimen is ASM 9488 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shishide-dai, locality G48, Akiyoshi, which is in a Gzhelian carbonate limestone in Japan.
