Taxonomy
Enigmalites largus was named by Tchudinova (1975). Its type specimen is PIN 3494/2 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Most Section, lower Tastubian Horizon, Kos'va River, which is in a Tastubian carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
