Taxonomy
Protolindenia deichmuelleri was named by Pritykina (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 2239/22, a hindwing (nearly complete hindwing ), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2239), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Pritykiniella deichmuelleri by Nel et al. (1998).
