Agnostus laevigatus armata was named by Linnarsson (1869) [Middle Cambrian; Sweden, Greenland, Siberia, Canada, United States, Australia, Korea, Antarctica, China]. It is not extant.
It was recombined as Agnostus armatus by Westrop et al. (1996); it was recombined as Lejopyge armata by Lermontova (1940) and Hong et al. (2003).
