It was recombined as Triplagnostus praecurrens by Bognibova (1965); it was recombined as Ptychagnostus praecurrens by Robison (1982); it was recombined as Agnostus praecurrens by Westrop et al. (1996); it was recombined as Pentagnostus praecurrens by Laurie (2004) and Naimark and Pegel (2017).
