Taxonomy
Rhynchonella wynnei was named by Waagen (1883). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kalabagh, limit between Middle and Upper Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Rhynchopora wynnei by Reed (1944) and Termier et al. (1974).
