Taxonomy
Selloproductus sellatus was named by Termier et al. (1974). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Katagay Ghar, Section K', Wardak, which is in a Wordian carbonate dolomite in Afghanistan. It is the type species of Selloproductus.
