Paraphillipsia taurica
Taxonomy
Paraphillipsia tauricum was named by Tumanskaya (1935). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 9733/64, a cephalon/head (glabella), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kichkhi-Burnu Block, Marta River, Crimea (Tumanskaya coll), which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Marta Formation of Ukraine.
It was corrected as Paraphillipsia taurica by Tumanskaya (1935), Hahn et al. (1970) and Mychko (2012).
