Taxonomy
Stenoscisma taimyrica was named by Ustritsky (1963). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tariseymi-Tari River, Outcrop 622, Bed B, Taimyr Peninsula, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Turuzov Formation of the Russian Federation.
