Eobucania subovatus

Taxonomy
Bellerophon subovatus was named by Cleland (1900). It is not extant. Its type locality is Bed V 2, large quarry ¼ mile south of RR track, Fort Hunter hamlet, Florida, which is in a Gasconadian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Tribes Hill Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Eobucania subovatus by Wagner (2023).
