Gasconadia mohawkensis

Taxonomy
Murchisonia mohawkensis was named by Cleland (1900). It is not extant. Its type locality is Bed V 2, large quarry ΒΌ mile south of RR track, Fort Hunter hamlet, Florida, which is in a Gasconadian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Tribes Hill Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Lophospira mohawkensis by Ulrich and Cooper (1938); it was recombined as Gasconadia mohawkensis by Wagner (2023).
