Taxonomy
Ptiolinites oudatchinae was named by Mostovski et al. (2000). Its type specimen is PIN 4210/5216, an exoskeleton (incomplete female), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 4210, layer 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
