Baeocossus finchae
Taxonomy
Baeocossus finchae was named by Menon et al. (2005). Its type specimen is SMNS 65501, an exoskeleton (near complete adult), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, quarry complex 2 km south of Nova Olinda, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone/mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
