Calycocoelia typicalis
Taxonomy
Calycocoelia typicalis was named by Bassler (1927). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is IK-3. Ikes Canyon sponge beds, Toquima Range, which is in a Rangerian carbonate limestone in the Antelope Valley Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Calycocoelia.
