Rugospongia viejoensis

Rugospongia viejoensis was named by Carrera (1996). It is not extant. Its type locality is Cerro Viejo [upper San Juan Fm], which is in a Llanvirn marine limestone in the San Juan Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Rugospongia.
