Thomasia moorei

Taxonomy
Microlestes moorei was named by Owen (1871). Its type specimen is Bath Museum M 211 (lectotype), a tooth (molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Microlestes Quarry, Frome, which is in a Rhaetian fissure fill claystone/sandstone in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Microcleptes moorei by Simpson (1928) and Huene (1940); it was recombined as Haramiya moorei by Clemens and Kielan-Jaworowska (1979); it was recombined as Thomasia moorei by , Butler and Macintyre (1994) and Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
