Priorvespa directa
Taxonomy
Priorvespa directa was named by Carpenter and Rasnitsyn (1990). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/685, an exoskeleton (very fragmentary impressions of wing veins), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 35), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
