Taxonomy
Serpulites indicus was named by Waagen and Pichl (1885). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chidru, dark sandy limestones of Lower Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.
