Gertholites jabiensis
Taxonomy
Pachypora jabiensis was named by Waagen and Wentzel (1886). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jabi, "Cephalopod Bed", Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine limestone in the Chhidru Formation of Pakistan.
It was recombined as Favosites jabiensis by Arthaber (1900); it was recombined as Thamnopora jabiensis by Fontaine (1961); it was recombined as Gertholites jabiensis by Sorauf (2004).
