Geinitzella multigemmata was named by Waagen and Wentzel (1886) [As Geinitzella columnaris var. ramosa multigemmata]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khisor Range, unspecified Verchere loc, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in Pakistan.
