Metacoceras medlicottianum

Taxonomy
Gyroceras medlicottianum was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khura, uppermost beds of Middle Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate marl in the Wargal Formation of Pakistan.

It was recombined as Metacoceras medlicottianum by Kummel (1953).
