Alloaeschna paskapooensis

Taxonomy
Alloaeschna paskapooensis was named by Wighton and Wilson (1986). Its type specimen is UAPC 6189, an exoskeleton (thorax abdominal fragment and 2 wings), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Site 1 (near confluence of Blindman and Red Deer Rivers), which is in a Tiffanian pond limestone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Alloaeschna.
