Taxonomy
Notothyris lenticularis was named by Waagen (1882). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is West of Khura, limit between Middle and Upper Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in Pakistan.
