Cronopio dentiacutus
Taxonomy
Cronopio dentiacutus was named by Rougier et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MPCA 454, a partial skull (incomplete skull with full upper dentition missing the braincase, part of the rostral roof, and the lower jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hoyada de los esfenodontes 1, La Buitrera, which is in a Cenomanian crevasse splay sandstone in the Candeleros Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Cronopio.
